In the age of instant messaging and drive-thru coffee houses, it’s safe to say that the modern woman likes to save time; but she also likes to look great. Now you can finally do both! Get the scoop on staying pretty and punctual with our top 10 time-saving beauty tips.

  1. Using a tinted moisturizer with SPF gives you hydrated skin, sun protection and an even skintone in a single application. Talk about saving time!
  2. Shaving is always a hassle, so why fumble with bulky shaving cream cans when you can apply a product you’re already using? While conditioning your hair, use a squirt to shave your legs. It leaves them silky smooth and doesn’t slide off as easily as shaving cream.
  3. Save time with a combination cleanser and toner or hydrating/exfoliating body wash, and nab two beauty birds with one stone.
  4. Instead of worrying about layer after layer of cakey concealer, mask dark circles with a highlighting pencil; it brings light and brightness to your eyes and takes only seconds! Try . This creamy, blendable concealer pencil hides imperfections and highlights your eyes with a warm end to neutralize redness and discoloration and a lighter end to soften fine lines and add radiance to cheekbones and under brows.
  5. Vaseline® is a miracle product to keep on hand; it moisturizes lips, adds glow to cheekbones, tames brows and soothes damaged cuticles.
  6. Get organized the night before so you’re not scrambling under the sink for your favorite lip gloss or hair clip in the morning. A few minutes of prep work can save you a lot of time and aggravation during your busy morning.
  7. Don’t have time to apply a whole face of makeup? Use an all-in-one cream color stick like Paula Dorf Perfect Color to apply a hint of hue to eyes, cheeks and lips. It imparts a cream-to-powder finish and adds luminosity with a single swipe.
  8. Skip the shower and apply baby powder or dry shampoo to your roots to soak up oil. We like Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray. This nourishing product cleanses and gives volume to oily, greasy strands with one application, leaving behind the fresh scent of lemon.
  9. Accessorize with cute headbands or clips when you don’t have time for straighteners and hair products.
  10. If you need to paint your nails in a hurry, try sticking them in ice water for three minutes to quickly freeze dry the polish so you’re not smearing on the steering wheel.

Enjoyed Point #2, as I’ve been using hair conditioner for years for shaving legs. Benefits are, as you mentioned, plus I’ve found clear conditioner like Unicure allows one to see any imperfections or problems on the skin as you shave so you can carefully work around them.
Thank you for the other great tips. I plan on trying the combination moisturizer/foundation to speed up prep time in the a.m.
    Thanks again!

Great tips but keep in mind that Vaseline is petroleum based, thus not the healthiest thing to consume in so many ways.
