    Just wanted to express my disappointment at your sale sight and the catalog I received today as I wanted to order several items but most of them were discontinued, Do you not update your sight, almost every item was not available, kind of crazy don’t you think

We are doing everything we can to ensure items come off the website once they are sold out.     My daughter loves your clothes but your shipping costs are sky-high. I ship all the time; I know how much it costs to ship, and while I don’t begrudge a bit of profit from shipping, your’s are unacceptable. Please open more stores in CT, how about the Danbury Mall; I’m sure you would do well there. Otherwise, I just can’t afford you.

      Thank you for your comments. We continually evaluate our shipping charges to ensure the packages will arrive promptly balanced with a competitive price. We do appreciate your feedback on the shipping charges however, particularly since you have knowledge of shopping elsewhere online and how much you normally pay to ship. We will pass this information along to our department that sets the charges for their consideration.

The shipment arrived promptly, it was packed beautifully with tissue paper and a thank you note. The items that were back ordered arrived within a few days of the original shipment, and again, with a thank you note.     I like your products, but find the shipping costs are noticeably higher than similar companies. Most recently, I prepared to purchase a silk lace bra and a silk mid weight turtle neck (ruched?). Both together could fit into a small padded shipping envelope, but the shipping was going to be $18 or so.

    Long time shopper at Soft Sorroundings. Love the clothes…..but I have endured shipping nightmares more than once. While I understand profit in shippping as a common practice I am not sure I agree with that. I have shipped at my own expense in my business in certain circumstances.Not to mention it feels as though these items are arriving by pony express. My latest situation has caused me to reevaluate my patronage to SS. After a 5 month illness and surgery I was thrilled to get both email and catalog offering free 2 day shipping in time for Christmas. as my shopping was lacking this was quite a help. I placed my order by the 11am deadline and enjoyed the thought of mission complete. I received conf. and tracking to find out that the pkg would arrive the day AFTER Christmas. I immediately called and explained my situation. I was assured that the pkg had not left the warehouse and that I would receive it under the advertised promise. Not so. I called the following day…still time to make things right but instead I got a surly phone clerk who proceeded to tell me in various ways that the whole situation was my fault for waiting so long. After 24 hrs I got a call back from a supervisor and asked her to intercept the package because I had to purchase other items and I would not be home to receive the package and did not want the responsibility of it being on the front porch for a week. I saw on tracking that the pkg was intercepted and returned on the 2nd of Jan. It was not until 8 Jan that my acct was credited. So the end to all this is. The order cost was removed from my acct 21 Dec and never credited til 8 Jan. It caused alot of extra work and the best rub of all..the free shipping cost me almost $20
