1908 Eau de Parfum

I always look forward to spring.

This year, I am especially excited because we are launching our beautiful new fragrance, 1908. This is very personal for me as the scent was developed from my grandmother’s custom perfume.

My grandparents, Lillian and Franklin, were married in 1905 and for their third anniversary, to celebrate her love of flowers, my grandfather gave her three small green houses. Eventually, she had her own perfume designed and wore it the rest of her life.

1908 Eau de Parfum, Purse Spray

It’s taken us more than a year, but I think we have finally captured the romance and elegance of this compelling fragrance and I am delighted to share it with you. We call it 1908 in memory of their love affair which lasted more than 50 years. On page 17, you can experience the scent for yourself. Their story is included in the packaging. I hope you like it!

All the best to you

I am not happy with Soft Surroundings. I placed an order December 16, 2012 for the Ariya tapestry coverlet, balloon skirt and two shams. The coverlet and the shams were listed as in stock and supposed to be shipped December 17th while the balloon skirt was supposed to be shipped in January. It is thoroughly disturbing that the delay notice for the main items was emailed AFTER the order was placed and the proposed shipment date. I was expecting guests and my plan was to at least have use of the coverlet and shams by the first week in January. Surprisedly, the balloon skirt actually arrived a few days later after the order was placed. However, it didn’t make any difference since I couldn’t do anything without the coverlet at least. The coverlet arrived much later in January and after my guests. The shams still haven’t arrived and it is now FEBRUARY. If you don’t have an item in stock it should be so noted (as you did with the bedskirt) at the time the order is placed not days after. Surely you knew that the rest of the order couldn’t be filled although you listed a 12/17 shipment date. Notification via email days later is unacceptable and so is the inability to calculate accurate shipping charges at the time of order.

Additionally, the quality of the crushed velvet the robe is made of is poor.
