My idea of a perfect day is spending the morning working with clients from my home office, enjoying lunch with my husband, and then having the rest of the day and evening to create (fiber arts, jewelry or writing).
Who has most inspired your fashion sense?
My mother was a model in the late 50’s and 60’s. She has great style!
What one fashion rule do you always abide by?
Never leave the house without a scarf and some mascara.
The biggest fashion faux pas (mistake) I ever made was. . .
Overdressing for an event: my new husband told me that the event was formal, with the women in floor-length gowns. When I arrived I found only one other woman in a formal gown, all the rest were in cocktail dresses.
What article of clothing is at the top of your shopping list?
A really great jacket.

I’ve just discovered silk fusion art. It is a cross between nuno felting and embroidery.

My husband let me design my wedding present – a gold filigreed necklace with 6 diamonds.
How has your style evolved over the years?
I’ve become more casual since starting my own business. I used to do more corporate work and wore suits and blazers. I still love a good jacket, but I usually pair it with jeans these days.
