Cosmopolitan – sophisticated selections having constituent elements from all over the world.
Who in your life has inspired you most?
My Aunt Lydia, who just passed away at the age of 96. She was a WAVE serving our country in the U.S. Navy and went on to become a purchasing agent for a major city – a job that no other woman ever held. She broke the glass ceiling long before we even knew it existed.
What is your secret indulgence?
Chocolate for my taste buds and Fly Fishing for my soul.
Where is your favorite place to travel?
Anywhere there is a trout stream. Trout don’t live in ugly places!
What is the best beauty advice you’ve ever received?
What is in your heart is on your face.
What one clothing item is worth splurging for?
A great top or jacket.
What is one fashion rule you always abide by?
If you’re not comfortable in it, don’t wear it.
What is one fashion rule that was made to be broken?
That certain colors do not belong on you – OWN them all!

How do you unwind?
I dig in the dirt. I’m a good gardener and love to plant things that attract butterflies.
What are you most proud of?
The work I have done
to get the city I live in certified as a Community Wildlife Habitat.
How would you describe the decor of your house?
Eclectic – filled with mementos from many travels and many eras.
What’s your passion project or hobby?
Gardening, catch and release fly fishing, playing with my Golden Retriever. I have many – I am a passionate woman!
